Tony G. has shown to be a strong poker player in the gaming world today. Like a ton of other players that have come up through the ranks and beat the odds, so to speak, Tony has given fans and
enthusiasts the world over something fresh to look out for. While Tony's life and journey to get where he is today may not have been the easiest, he has still managed to work through it and create a life for himself that he has always dreamed of attaining one day.
Born Antanas Guoga on Dec. 17, 1971 in the country of Lithuania, he would soon be on the path toward a blossoming career in poker that would change his life as he knew it. As a young man, he moved to Australia with his family at the age old eleven. In his late teens, Tony would go on to play poker and become very well known for his trash talking while at the tables, something that would help him to gain his stardom and shoot him up into fame throughout the poker ranks. He became interested in playing poker and from then on, the rest is history. Poker became not just a side hobby, but in a way a business, a way of life.
As time went on and Tony started to get much better at the game, he knew that it was time to start making some moves and get serious about making his run in poker work. Like pretty much anyone that has worked hard in their lifetime, it took a lot of effort and dedication for Tony G. to make it to where he is now. Taking care of the people around him while trying to make a name for himself in the poker world has shown to pay off in a big way, as we can see. Once a new player on the scene with much to prove, Tony G. has worked his way to the top in order to make a reputation for himself and gain the respect of among notable players alike. While many may
not know the real person, the struggle that was needed to get where he is today, Tony definitely stood strong and held his own as he has shown literally thousands of people around the world.
He is still playing to win and doing what he does best, going at it on the tables. Now at days, Tony G. is living life to the fullest. He's also still raking up the wins and showing other professional players that he is a mean opponent to have to face and a player to be reckoned with if you cross paths. Tony G. has accumulated about 13 money finishes in the WSOP and many World Poker Tour cashes (good for more than $600,000 throughout his poker career). As he is one of the poker greats of our time, Tony has also made it a big point to donate to charity and give back to the community as well, which a great example of how many professional players will contribute to causes that touch them. On a personal note, Tony is currently living in Melbourne, Australia and is still working on catapulting his poker career to astronomic heights .
